Dixie National Forest, Escalante Ranger District allows dispersed camping here -- 16-day limit in any 60 days. Camp at least 300 ft from water.
All 3.8 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Dirt the whole way in (3.8 miles). Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~140 ft on the downhill side. Level ground alongside most of its length. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch.
Private here -- the nearest through road is 1.6 miles off. Travellers have camped along here. The nearest town, Panguitch, is 31 mi off.
