Oak Creek Campground is situated at an elevation of 8,300 feet in a ponderosa pine forest on the eastern slope of Boulder Mountain. Located on the Colorado Plateau 20 miles southeast of Torrey, Utah, the facility offers basic amenities including pit toilets and drinking water. The area draws visitors for ATV riding on local trails, boating and fishing at nearby Lower Bowns Reservoir, and sightseeing along Utah Highway 12. Capitol Reef National Park lies approximately 30 miles to the northwest, offering hiking trails and red rock desert scenery.
