Setting
Kings Creek Campground sits among pine trees on a hillside at 8,000 feet, situated on the west side of Tropic Reservoir. The location features two reservable group sites with a large covered shelter, alongside individual first-come, first-served sites. On-site facilities include flush toilets and drinking water. A boat ramp is located within a half-mile on Tropic Reservoir, and the East Fork Sevier River flows nearby. The Fremont ATV Trail passes within a quarter-mile, and Bryce Canyon National Park is located 12 miles away.
Getting there: From Panguitch, Utah, travel 7 miles south on Hwy 89 to Scenic Hwy 12. Travel Hwy 12 for 11 miles to East Fork Road. Travel East Fork Road 7 miles to Tropic Reservoir and Kings Creek Campground. Turn immediately after the sign for the campground, and continue .5 miles to the campground located on the west side of Tropic Reservoir.
