Located at the eastern mouth of Temple Wash where it cuts through the San Rafael Reef, this campground sits near 1,000-foot red and white rock cliffs. Sites feature flat gravel surfaces, fire rings, and picnic tables, backed by two vault toilets and an information kiosk. The location serves as a hub for exploring nearby slot canyons, including Little Wild Horse Canyon, as well as accessing the Temple Mountain Pictograph Panel, historic uranium mining sites, Behind-the-Reef Road, and the hoodoos at Goblin Valley State Park two miles east.
