Setting
Potters Pond Campground sits in Upper Joes Valley at 8,900-9,000 feet elevation on the Manti-La Sal National Forest. The 19-site facility includes nine double, two single, one group, and four equestrian sites. Each site has tables and campfire rings with grills; vault toilets available but no potable water or hookups. Visitors must bring water and pack out garbage. Open June 1 through early October. Single sites $10/night, group sites $30-$40/night, equestrian $15-$25/night. Adjacent ponds offer fishing for rainbow trout and canoeing. Arapeen OHV Trail System with 350+ miles of designated trails is nearby.
Getting there: From Price, Utah, travel south on Highway 10 for 20 miles, to Huntington. Turn right onto Highway 31 and travel northwest for 30 miles. Turn south onto Miller Flat Road and travel 11 miles. Turn right onto Potter Canyon Road and continue for less than a mile to the campground.
