Potters Pond Campground sits at 8,900 feet in Upper Joe's Valley, set among pine trees, wild grasses, and mountain aspens next to two high-country ponds. The layout includes single, double, and equestrian sites with tables and campfire rings, served by vault toilets on dirt roads. There is no drinking water, electricity, or trash service. The ponds offer canoeing and rainbow trout fishing, while surrounding mountain trails connect directly to the 350-mile Arapeen OHV Trail System as well as local hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding routes.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.

September normals 4063°F, 2.4″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
