Goblin Valley spans 9,915 acres of distinctive sandstone hoodoos carved from 170-million-year-old Entrada sandstone, creating a Mars-like landscape of thousands of rounded stone formations. Positioned between Arches and Capitol Reef national parks and bordering the San Rafael Swell, the park offers developed and primitive camping alongside hiking, mountain biking, disc golf, and access to nearby slot canyons, off-highway trails, historic mines, and rock art panels. The valley sits at a designated dark-sky location.
