Big Rock Group Campground sits at an elevation of 7,600 feet along Huntington Creek in Huntington Canyon. Pine and fir trees line the perimeter of the campground. The site features a single group campsite that accommodates up to 50 people, served by a large gravel parking lot and accessible vault toilets. No drinking water or trash services are provided. Huntington Creek flows right beside the site, offering fishing for brown, cutthroat, and rainbow trout. Nearby paths include the 4-mile Left Fork of the Huntington National Recreation Trail and the 10-mile Fish Creek Trail.

Road difficulty 2 of 5 -- a moderate drive in. Recorded as maintained for passenger cars, gravel, pitching to 2%. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
