Yellowstone Group Campground sits at 7,700 feet along the Yellowstone River on the southern slope of the Uinta Mountains, 40 miles from Duchesne. One group site accommodates 40 people and four vehicles or trailers; several first-come single sites available at $10/night. Vault toilets provided. Surrounded by aspen, maple, and ponderosa pine. Open May–September; group site $30/night. Access to 50-mile Yellowstone ATV Trail System, fishing for rainbow, brown, brook, and cutthroat trout.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
