Rock Creek Group Campground sits at 7,200 feet elevation on the southern slopes of the Uinta Mountains, shaded by aspen and pine trees. The group site accommodates up to 75 people and is equipped with picnic tables, campfire rings, grills, and vault toilets. There is no running water, so guests must pack in their own supply. Rock Creek runs alongside the site for trout fishing and seasonal kayaking. The Rock Creek Trail begins a mile away, providing access to the High Uintas Wilderness, Yellowpine Campground's paved nature trail, and Upper Stillwater Reservoir.

Getting there: From Duchesne, Utah, take Highway 87 north 15 miles to the Mountain Home turnoff and turn left. Continue 2.5 miles north to the Rock Creek Store and turn left toward Rock Creek Canyon. Proceed approximately 14 miles to the campground.
