Scofield State Park sits high in the Manti-La Sal Mountains around Scofield Reservoir, a mountain lake with cutthroat, rainbow, and tiger trout. The park operates two campgrounds: Mountain View Campground on the terraced shoreline near the dam accommodates smaller trailers and tents, while the recently renovated Madsen Bay Campground on the northern shoreline offers paved sites with electric and water hookups for larger trailers. Boating, fishing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing attract visitors year-round.
