Setting
Wood Camp Campground sits at 5,600 feet on the banks of the Logan River, 13 miles east of Logan along the Logan Canyon Scenic Byway. The shaded facility features 6 single campsites equipped with picnic tables and fire rings, alongside vault toilets. Located within Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, the camp sits right at the Old Juniper Trailhead, which leads to the 1,500-year-old Jardine Juniper tree. The adjacent river and limestone canyon walls draw visitors for trout fishing, climbing, and hiking, with Bear Lake located further up the scenic highway.
