Setting
Tony Grove Campground sits at 8,100 feet on a mountainside shaded by Engelmann spruce, white pine, and aspen trees, right above Tony Grove Lake. The site features paved roads, paved parking spurs, and vault restrooms. A day-use area provides access to the lake for canoeing and fishing. On-site trails include a self-guided nature loop around the shoreline and the start of the 4.5-mile White Pine Lake Trail, which connects to backcountry routes in the adjacent Mount Naomi Wilderness. Bear Lake sits 25 miles away.
Getting there: In Garden City, UT, at intersection of State Rt. 30 and US Rt. 89, take Rt. 89 south 18.4 miles to Tony Grove Recreation Area sign. Turn right at sign and then take an immediate left and go 6.8 miles to campground on the right.
