Setting
Lewis M. Turner Campground sits set back from the highway at 5,900 feet elevation, roughly 22 miles northeast of Logan. Surrounded by meadows of summer wildflowers, the grounds are shaded by white pines, Engelmann spruce, and aspens. Facilities include 10 single campsites with picnic tables, fire rings, and flush restrooms. The surrounding area provides access to trails for hiking, biking, and climbing, while Bear Lake is located nearby for motorized boating, sailing, and cutthroat trout fishing.
Getting there: In Garden City, UT, at the intersection of State Rt. 30 and US Rt. 89, take Rt. 89 south 18.4 miles to the Tony Grove Recreation Area sign. Turn right at the sign and go straight 0.4 miles to the campground.
