Hyrum State Park centers on a 450-acre reservoir at 4,700-foot elevation in northern Cache County, about 20 minutes from Logan. The park offers 32 campsites, two cabins, and a large group site, with restrooms, showers, boat ramp, and dock. Year-round fishing includes bass, trout, perch, bluegill, and wipers. Summer recreation spans beach use, boating, and water sports. Nearby hiking, biking, and off-highway vehicle trails make it a base for exploring the Wasatch region. The reservoir was built in 1935 by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.
