Screened shelter camping in East Texas Pineywoods at Huntsville State Park, located north of Houston within Sam Houston National Forest. Twenty-eight 12-by-18-foot screened buildings with concrete floors, picnic tables, water hookup, and electrical service (30/50 amp). Set on 210-acre Lake Raven with boat ramps and fishing piers. Trail system includes 21 miles through pine needle-covered paths. Alligators inhabit the waters and wetlands. Nature center offers educational programs on weekends.
