Primitive pull-through camping area set in Val Verde County's dramatic canyons near the Rio Grande, with 15 drive-up RV sites featuring picnic tables, fire rings, and tent pads but no shade or electrical hookups. Nearly ten miles of trails access canyon overlooks, the Pecos River, and world-class indigenous rock art, including Fate Bell Shelter containing 10,000-year-old pictographs and the prominent Black Seminole Scouts legacy. Extreme summer heat regularly exceeds 100°F in this rugged southwest Texas setting.
