Seminole Canyon State Park - Desert Vista Campground in TX -- Campground & RV Camping

A 2,173-acre park in Val Verde County preserving 2,000-8,000 years of indigenous rock art in canyon settings. The landscape features honeycomb-weathered limestone formations and nine miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. Campsites range from primitive sites to those with water and electricity, supported by restroom facilities with showers. The primary attractions are ancient pictograph sites including Panther Cave with paintings from approximately 7000 B.C. and Fate Bell Shelter, both accessible by trail or guided tour. The visitor center features a 17-foot bronze sculpture titled The Maker of Peace.
