Shortleaf Camping occupies Tyler State Park within the Pineywoods region, with campsites ranging from water-only to full hookups beneath 100-foot tall trees. The park centers on a 64-acre spring-fed lake with over 13 miles of trails for hiking and mountain biking. Boating rentals (canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, johnboats), a fishing pier, and swimming are offered on the cool water with a 5 mph motorized speed limit.
