Fishing for bass, bream, catfish. 21-mile mountain bike trail, 5-mile hiking trail to Big Creek Scenic Area, and access to Lone Star Hiking Trail. Beach swimming open April 30 onward. Group shelter accommodates 75. Day use $7/vehicle.

Getting there: From New Waverly, Texas, go 22 miles east on Highway 150 to FM 2025. Turn and drive south 0.25 miles to the campground.
