Hackberry sits at the floor of Palo Duro Canyon, accessed by a steep 10% grade descent from the rim. The 32 sites accommodate RVs up to 60 feet with water hookup and 20/30-amp electrical service at each. Picnic tables and fire rings furnish every site. A bathhouse with flush toilets and hot showers serves campers. A creek flows through the area, and an 11-mile hiking and biking trail traverses the nearby canyon slopes.
