Rock water tank surrounded by ancient basaltic lava beds, seven miles east of Sauceda along the historic Marfa to Lajitas stagecoach road in the Upper Fresno Backcountry Zone. Three primitive campsites each offer one picnic table, fire ring, and two tent pads (capacity eight people). Rocky outcroppings provide natural windbreaks.
