Pin Oak Loop comprises sites 98–147 in a heavily wooded section of this 635-acre park along Lake Livingston in the Piney Woods. The loop sits near public restrooms and features fire rings mounted on concrete pads, with infrastructure modernization underway. The park offers 3 boat ramps, fish-cleaning stations, and a pier along the 84,800-acre reservoir, plus over 10 miles of hiking trails, white bass fishing, boating, canoeing, and kayaking. Big Thicket National Preserve and Sam Houston National Forest lie nearby.
