Setting
Located within the Waco city limits on the southeast shore of Waco Lake, Midway Park features 37 total campsites. The layout includes 32 sites with water and electric hookups (11 with full sewer) alongside 5 tent sites. On-site facilities provide hot showers, an accessible playground, a boat ramp, and a dock. Anglers fish the submerged timber along the shoreline for bass, crappie, catfish, and sunfish. The campground is ten miles from downtown attractions like the Magnolia Market.
Getting there: From I-35, take the exit for Hwy 6 N toward Meridian (330B) for about 5 miles. Immediately before crossing the lake, exit right at Midway Park Exit. At the exit, drive under the bridge and the park is a quarter-mile down the east-bound service road.
