Part of Enchanted Rock State Natural Area's 5,388 acres in the Texas Hill Country. The reserve centers on a distinctive 425-foot pink granite dome overlooking diverse terrain: oak woodlands, mesquite grasslands, floodplain zones, and rocky granite outcroppings. Over 500 plant species including plateau live oak, beargrass, and prickly pear grow here. Sandy Creek runs through the reserve. Primitive backcountry camping with permits available; over 10 miles of trails for exploring the landscape.
