Setting
Sanders Cove Campground sits along the banks of the 6,000-acre Pat Mayse Lake in the Red River Basin of northern Texas. Set among rolling grasslands and hardwood forests of mature pine, the year-round facility offers 85 campsites equipped with electric hookups. On-site amenities include flush and pit toilets, hot showers, drinking water, a dump station, and a boat ramp. The lake provides access for swimming, water sports, and fishing, while thousands of surrounding acres are managed for upland game and waterfowl hunting.
Getting there: From Paris, TX, take HWY 271 north 12 miles to FM 906 W and follow it 1 mile to CR 35920. Turn left into the park following signs.
