Six walk-in tent sites a 30–70 yard walk from parking, on the spring-fed South Llano River in the Hill Country at 1,710 feet elevation. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, water access, and chemical toilets. The park offers two miles of river frontage with tubing and paddling, 22.7 miles of hiking and biking trails ranging from easy to difficult, and adjacent showers. Designated an International Dark Sky Park.
