Love Park occupies a grassy, partially wooded lot on the southeastern shore of Bardwell Lake, less than an hour south of Dallas-Fort Worth. The park features a single group picnic pavilion for up to 200 guests, vault toilets, and a four-lane boat ramp. Visitors use the facility to launch boats, hike, and target bass, crappie, and catfish on the water. A commercial marina nearby offers fishing piers and designated hunting areas around the lake.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Sits on broad, near-level ground.
