Screened shelter complex on the north shore of Jim Chapman Lake in the Doctors Creek Unit. Shelters 5, 6, and 7 sit on the Granny's Neck peninsula with water spigots, 20-amp electrical hookups, ceiling fans, interior lighting, and fire rings. Each accommodates up to eight people with picnic table, outdoor grill, and nearby restrooms and boat facilities. Popular for shoreline fishing and water access in the 466-acre Doctors Creek Unit, 90 minutes northeast of Dallas.
