Setting

Fairly secluded

This high-country backcountry campground sits on a small, exposed knoll along the Guadalupe Peak Trail, 3.1 miles up from the Pine Springs trailhead and one mile below the summit of Guadalupe Peak. The site offers five designated tent pads with makeshift rock windbreaks to help counter heavy winds. A backcountry permit is required for all overnight stays.
