North Park is a weekend-only primitive campground situated atop a limestone bluff overlooking Canyon Lake. Open only from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon between April and September, the facility features 20 tent-only sites. Each campsite is outfitted with a picnic table, grill, and fire ring, alongside direct shoreline access to the water. On-site public facilities include a shared vault restroom and three drinking fountains. Campers primarily use the park for swimming, boating, and scuba diving access on the lake.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.

The Canyon Lake shoreline is 0.1 mi off. Exposed here -- the nearest through road is 0.2 miles off, a 20-site campground. Night skies measure Bortle 4 -- a rural sky with a glow on the horizon. Mostly tent-only sites -- 4 sit on the water, most of them shaded. The nearest town, Canyon Lake, is 3.4 mi off.

September normals 6790°F, 3.7″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
