Setting
Lakeside Campground sits on the northern shore of Hords Creek Lake in central Texas, surrounded by rolling hills and live oak trees. The park features campsites with water and electric hookups, plus select sites with sewer hookups or screened shelters to block wind. On-site facilities include boat ramps, fishing piers, and showers. Anglers come to target largemouth bass, white crappie, sunfish, and channel or flathead catfish. The campground is eight miles west of city services in Coleman and sits adjacent to Friendship Park and Lakeside Park.
Getting there: From Coleman, TX, take Hwy 153 west 7 miles to the main entrance toHords Creek Lake. Follow signs into the campground.
