Thirty waterfront electric campsites in Post Oak woodland at the northern shore of 11,000-acre Lake Somerville, where rolling Texas scrubland transitions to water. Each site includes water hookup, 30-amp electric service, picnic table, and fire ring; five sites feature ADA-accessible paved pathways from parking areas. Fishing from shore without license, boating, kayaking, and hiking through live oak and post oak forest. Brown pelicans and waterfowl frequent the lake during migration seasons.
