Thirty primitive tent-only sites within the South Prong canyon area of Caprock Canyons State Park, each a 10- to 30-yard walk from parking. Sites have fire rings and organic toilets; bring your own water and pack out trash. The park features ninety miles of trails through red-rock canyons ranging from 2,180 to 3,180 feet elevation, Lake Theo, equestrian facilities, and native bison herds on the plains.
