Ten primitive tent-only sites tucked in the red canyons of Caprock Canyons State Park, a 10- to 30-yard walk from parking. Each site features a fire ring and covered picnic table for shelter. Composting toilets serve the area; visitors must bring their own water and carry out all trash. The park spans ninety miles of trails through dramatic canyon terrain, Lake Theo, and open plains where native bison roam.
