Stillhouse Park is a day-use area on the shores of Stillhouse Hollow Lake, a 6,430-acre reservoir with clear, deep water framed by rocky beaches, sandy bluffs, and forested shorelines. It features grassy open spaces with shade trees, nearly 40 individual picnic sites with grills, a swimming beach, a marina, and a fuel dock. Visitors come to fish for bass and catfish, swim, play basketball or volleyball, and view waterfowl and birds of prey. Nearby options include the hiking trails at Chalk Ridge Falls Environmental Learning Center and the Village of Salado.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Overhead clearance here is posted at 8 ft -- the tightest site sets the limit.
