Setting
Ragland Bottom Campground sits along the forested shores of Center Hill Lake on the Caney Fork River. The park features 40 sites with water and electric hookups, 16 primitive tent sites, and a day-use area with a group picnic shelter, swim beach, and boat ramp. Amenities include flush toilets, showers, drinking water, a playground, and sports courts. Campers can hike the two-mile Red Post Trail loop above the sites for lake views, fish for bass and walleye, or visit nearby Burgess Falls State Park to view its 250-foot series of waterfalls.
Getting there: From Smithville, Tennessee, take US-70 east for 8 miles. Turn left on Ragland Bottom Road and follow signs to the campground, located one mile from Sligo Bridge.
