Setting
Long Branch Campground is located along the forested Caney Fork River directly below Center Hill Dam. The site offers 60 campsites with water and 50-amp electric hookups, a day-use group shelter, flush toilets, showers, a playground, a dump station, and a boat ramp. Anglers visit to fish for stocked rainbow and brown trout, use the fish cleaning station, or paddle canoes and kayaks down the river. The Buffalo Valley Nature Trail sits directly across the river, while Edgar Evins State Park is five minutes away.
Getting there: From I-40, take exit 268 and merge onto US-96 west. Continue for 5 miles to the end of Center Hill Dam, then turn right on SR-141. Follow signs into campground.
