Setting
Floating Mill Park occupies a peninsula surrounded on three sides by Center Hill Lake in central Tennessee's Highland Rim region. The campground features lakefront tent sites, multiple RV sites with water and electric hookups, and a day-use shelter for up to 125 people. Amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water, a playground, a fish cleaning station, and an on-site boat ramp. The two-mile Lost Springs Trail loops directly above the grounds, providing foot access into the surrounding hardwood forest for hiking and wildlife viewing.
Getting there: From I-40, take exit 273. Merge onto US-56 south and continue for 3.5 miles to Floating Mill Road. After about a mile, turn right to stay on Floating Mill Road, and follow signs into the campground.
