Setting
Dale Hollow Lake Primitive Camping consists of 32 designated locations containing over 70 dispersed family tent sites along 620 miles of forested lake shoreline in Tennessee and Kentucky. Most sites are remote pack-it-in, pack-it-out spots accessible only by boat, though six specific locations (including Cove Creek and Eagle Creek Ferry) offer vehicle access. Each site provides a pit or vault toilet and a ground grill or fire ring. Cove Creek is the sole location with drinking water. The surrounding 27,700-acre reservoir is renowned for smallmouth bass fishing and water sports.
