Setting
Dale Hollow Damsite Campground sits in the forested hills along the Obey River, three miles east of Celina, Tennessee. The park offers 72 single sites, three double-party group sites, and a picnic shelter, with 50-amp electric and water hookups on most pads. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, a dump station, and Wi-Fi near the registration center. On site is a 1-mile paved walking and biking trail. The adjacent federal trout hatchery, the trout-rich Obey River, and lake access via Pleasant Grove Day Use Area (3 miles away) are the primary nearby features.
Getting there: From Celina, Tennessee, take Highway 53 North for 2 miles. Turn right on Dale Hollow Dam Road, then take the second right on Campground Road. Follow signs to Dale Hollow Dam Recreation Area. It is recommended that visitors do not rely soley on GPS or Mapquest to reach the park.
