Setting
Roubaix Lake Campground occupies a Ponderosa pine forest at 5,500 feet elevation within Black Hills National Forest's Northern Hills Ranger District. Campsites are dispersed among four loops, with many offering lake views. Potable water (unavailable October 1–May 15). Adjacent day-use area has swim beach. Non-motorized boating and paddling available. Loops A and B close September 30; Loop C remains open year-round with limited services. Peak season (mid-May to late September): $28/night; shoulder season: $15/night. Located approximately 13 miles south of Deadwood on US Highway 385.
Getting there: Located on the north side of Roubaix Lake. From Rapid City, South Dakota, take Highway 385 north, then take Forest Road 255 to the campground.
