Setting
Oconee Point Campground occupies 70 acres of pine and mixed hardwood forest along the shoreline of Hartwell Lake. The park contains 70 public campsites featuring full water and electric hookups (30 and 50 amp), served by five comfort stations, three shower facilities, and a dump station. On-site features include a boat ramp, courtesy dock, two playgrounds, and a designated sandy swimming beach. Lake activities focus on boating, water skiing, and fishing for bass, crappie, and catfish. The site sits a short drive from Clemson, South Carolina.
Getting there: From Interstate 85 in South Carolina, take exit 11 onto State Highway 24 towards Townville. About 1.5 miles past Townville, turn right onto Coneross Creek Road. Proceed 2.5 miles and turn RIGHT onto South Friendship Road. Drive 3 miles to park entrance on LEFT. 200 OCONEE POINT RD, Seneca, SC 29678
