Setting

Limited privacy

Woods Ferry Recreation Area sits along the Broad River within a wooded floodplain of upland pine and hardwoods. The campground features 15 single sites, one double site, and one group site, with gravel roads and parking spurs. Ten sites include built-in horse corrals, and others allow highlining to access the adjacent 26-mile Woods Ferry Horse Trail. Facilities include vault toilets, fire rings, picnic tables, and water spigots, but no electricity. A short walk leads to a day-use picnic area with shelters, grills, three fishing platforms, and boat launch access.
