Springfield Campground covers 60 acres of pine and hardwood forest on the shores of Hartwell Lake. Visitors come for boating, water skiing, swimming, and fishing for bass, bream, crappie, and catfish. On-site facilities include 79 public campsites with full water and electric hookups, six comfort stations (four with showers), a dump station, three playgrounds, a boat ramp, a courtesy dock, and a designated sandy swim beach. Clemson, South Carolina, is a short drive away for additional attractions, dining, and services.
