Setting
Singing Pines Recreation Area is a 42-acre day-use park situated along the shaded shores of Hartwell Lake on the Georgia-South Carolina border. Facilities include 57 individual picnic sites, two standard shelters with water and electric service, five mini-shelters, two designated sand swimming beaches, two playgrounds, and two comfort stations. Boaters and anglers use the park's boat ramp, courtesy dock, and fishing pier to access the reservoir for motorboating, canoeing, and catching largemouth bass, striped bass, crappie, and catfish.
