Conemaugh River Lake Day Use Area sits on flat ground near Conemaugh Dam, offering two accessible pavilions with electrical outlets, lights, charcoal grills, and nearby flush toilets. The grounds feature a large playground, outdoor fitness gear, a basketball court, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and multiple dam overlooks. The Woodchuck Nature Trail winds through the surrounding forest, while the nearby Tunnelview Historic Site provides a walk along the 1830s Main Line Canal. A carry-in launch grants electric-motor boat access to the lake.
