Setting
Susquehannock Campground is a primitive option set along the forested shores of the 8,300-acre Raystown Lake in Pennsylvania's ridge and valley province. The site features over 60 non-electric, newly renovated campsites with level pads, fire rings with grills, picnic tables, and lantern poles, backed by vault toilets and potable water hydrants. Hot showers and laundry are a short drive away at Seven Points. Watercraft users access a 28-mile lake with no horsepower limit, while mountain bikers enjoy direct access to the 36-mile Allegrippis Trail System and nearby Terrace Mountain trails.
Getting there: From Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, take Route 26 south for 6 miles. Turn left onto Seven Points Drive and continue 3 miles. Turn left again onto Baker's Hollow Road. Campground entrance is two miles ahead on the right.
