Crooked Creek Lake is an Army Corps of Engineers flood control reservoir created in 1940, set among western Pennsylvania's rolling hills 30 miles northeast of Pittsburgh. The Constitution and Freedom Pavilions are situated in the Spillway Recreation Area, which features a playground, two volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, a basketball court, and a ball field. A shared restroom facility with flush toilets and running water services the pavilions. The broader reservoir provides a sandy peninsula beach, boat launches for waterskiing, shoreline fishing, and access to the 141-mile Baker Trail.
