Crooked Creek Lake lies among the rolling hills of western Pennsylvania, 30 miles northeast of Pittsburgh. The park includes a 46-site family campground alongside day-use areas and pavilions like Independence, Heritage, and Justice. Facilities across the grounds feature picnic tables, grills, ball fields, horseshoe pits, flush and vault restrooms, a 9-hole disc golf course, a boat launch, and a sandy peninsula beach for swimming and fishing. The 141-mile Baker Trail crosses the property, and the Crooked Creek Horse Park with riding trails is located two miles away.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.

Crowded here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off, a 45-site campground. A pond lies 0.1 mi off. Night skies measure Bortle 4 -- a rural sky with a glow on the horizon. Mostly tent-only sites -- most of them shaded. The nearest town, Lenape Heights, is 3.5 mi off.

September normals 5276°F, 4.1″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
