Sprawling 600-acre recreation area in northeast Oregon bordering the Wallowa River, home to 22 primitive campsites, restrooms, a boat ramp, and walking trails. Excellent for fishing steelhead, boating, and wildlife viewing—deer, elk, bear, and occasionally bighorn sheep and cougars roam the forested landscape. Open year-round, offering remote camping in a rugged setting with river access and minimal development.
